Overview
We are looking for a Warehouse Team Member (Nights) to join us on our Micheldever contract in Greenford. The night shift warehouse team member will work From Sunday – Thursday night’s to pick and load all customer orders due to be transferred to our Ashford depot in Kent, and also our own local van deliveries
Salary £25,360.35 + shift allowance
Shifts = Sunday to Thursday 15:00 - 00:00 / 18:00 - 03:00 (1 Friday in every 4 required)
How will you contribute?
- Accurately pick goods for transfer to other depots or customers
- Ensure location information is up to date and accurate when locating goods in the warehouse
- Carry out stock rotation activities
- Ensure paperwork is correctly filled out
- Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.
- Making sure orders are despatched on time
- Carrying out spot checks and audits
- Auditing stock movements across warehouse and resolving any discrepancies
- Collaboration with the wider team to continually improve ways of working & processes.
- Ensure all Legal, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Operational procedures are always adhered to ensure the safety of self and others.
- Report any injuries, accidents and any Health and Safety issues.
- Adhering to procedures and practises according to the training received.
- To participate and be involved in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement
What will you bring?
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Experience in warehouse / is preferred.
- Results orientated and can work to schedules
- Able to lift and handle goods
- Good degree of literacy and numeracy
- Understands the basics of Health and Safety procedures
- Good communication skills and time management
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work quickly under pressure
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to accept and adapt to change
- Proactive in approach
