JOB DESCRIPTION
Lot 1 is Levis Bespoke denim service where we make a range of products for our clients. We operate out of Haus London, in a busy retail environment. We are looking for a Master Tailor to join our team role to help us organise clients, fittings and supplies as we continue to grow this bespoke service and our clientele.
We are passionate about fit and craftsmanship and hope to find someone who will slot into our team seamlessly. We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, impeccable people skills and who is highly organised and efficient.
Primary Function
- To Manage the full lot1 workroom business – workload, material stock, clientele relationships
- To produce and oversee the production of all garments on the lot1 program.
- To complete tasks that aid the running of an efficient, well-organized store in order to achieve optimum profitability.
- To promote high levels of service to our consumer, always offering an easy and enjoyable experience.
To be Preformed
- Manages full work room, overseeing all work undertaken by lead tailors and tailors.
- Can sew all Lot 1 garments from start to finish and maintain the highest level of quality throughout
- Teaching Lot 1 tailors in the production of all garments on Lot 1 program
- Problem solves in workroom for other tailors
- Speed sewer
- Expert in Pattern cutting. Will work on developing new fits and furthering business
- Works on new product offering- both pattern and manufacture
- Hosts majority of consultations, building strong, long term clientele.
- Checks in on Tailors fitting pinning to cast an eye over
- Training tailors on fittings and hosting consultations.
- Business development- working with other Master tailors to develop the lot1 program
- Training new Master tailors in new locations- overseeing and passing knowledge to the start of the new lot1s
- Working with tailors to grow their abilities and aid their development in their careers.
- Till trained/ VAT knowledgeable
- Can host tailor training in Northampton/ highest point of call for training all tailors in the company.
- Able to give advice and take part in any projects requiring tailoring knowledge in the business.
- Carries out main administrative tasks, ordering, accounts, working with other teams in the business to solve issues and grow the lot 1 program.
- Maintain excellent customer environment. Use company directives to ensure store is always to guidelines.
- Can be called upon to host tailor training if needed. Has understanding of general goings on for UK Levis tailor’s shops
- Reflect the values of the brand with integrity and respect for others. Be seen as truthful, fair and trustworthy and demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for the brand.

Essential
- +5 years’ experience of working in a bespoke tailors capacity
- Knowledge of the idiosyncrasies of working with denim
- Organised and efficient
- Experienced of how to pin and fit in a bespoke manner
- Experienced in managing a team of tailors.
- Good Written and Verbal English

- Experiencing managing workload eg: lead times, workroom stocks, sales
- Numerical aptitude
