WHATβS THE ROLE?
Weβre looking for a Seniorβ―QA Testerβ―who will be responsible forβ―testingβ―Frontierβs games throughout all phases of development, from pre-production through post-release content.β―
In this role, youβll workβ―on medium-to-high-risk features, designing and executing comprehensive test suites, and conducting both regression testing and playtesting. Leveraging QA experience, youβll proactivelyβ―identifyβ―and resolve issues, provide guidance to QA teamβ―membersβ―and recommend and implement improvements.β―
Depending on project needs, you may also assume Assistant Lead or Team Lead responsibilities for specific phases or entire projects.
WHAT YOUβLL BE DOING

Write, run andβ―maintainβ―medium-to-high risk test specifications and suites for new and existing projects, ensuring efficient time reporting and estimates on given tasks and written suites.

Conduct playtesting using a variety of test personas e.g. destructive testing and player-like testing.

Envision user stories and gather data with provided instructions.

Identifyβ―and report issues in a clear andβ―accurateβ―manner.

Perform regression testing for both internal and external issues.β―

Act as point of contact for specific features, regularly collaborating with cross-discipline teams to gather and relay relevant information back to QA.β―

Provide guidance and technical mentoring to other testers, including guidance on their documentation and advanced troubleshooting of other testers on the project.

Raise potential future hurdles for testing, pre-empt problems, and suggest best fixes and ideas for further testing.

Contribute to product information, identification of problem areas and analysis of trends toβ―anticipateβ―and navigate risks.
WHAT YOUβLL BRING

Significant QA experience in the games industry and a strong understanding of QA tools, procedures,β―methodologiesβ―and workflows.

Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experience aligning testing with requirements, managingβ―prioritiesβ―and successfully collaborating across disciplines/teams.β―β―

Proven leadership or mentoring experience.β―
